Preventive and performance maintenance (PPM)
Maintaining the performance of your research equipment
Preventive maintenance (PM) keeps your research equipment properly calibrated to minimize breakdowns, ensure accuracy of results, and optimize outcomes. Using proprietary software, we conduct a full diagnosis of your laboratory systems and perform all maintenance and verification to maintain factory specifications, ensure peak operational quality, and replace components as needed. Our tests were designed during product development and optimized to reflect functional tests performed during equipment manufacture.

ÄKTA chromatography system preventive maintenance
Up to 40 different tests and inspection points
Preventive maintenance for ÄKTA chromatography systems include pump pulsation tests, evaluation of pressure sensor limit alarm, UV lamp intensity tests, inspection of fans and ventilation, and testing of fraction collector operations.OptiRun engineers will also perform liquid system inspection and cleaning, firmware updates, operational checks of computer and UNICORN software, and a full readout and update of instrument logbooks.

Only our engineers have the training and experience needed to safely and effectively relocate your assets
Whether your asset is a single piece of equipment or an entire lab instrumentation, we can assist in planning, equipment labeling, dismantling, packing, decommissioning, recommissioning, and setup. We will also provide any regulatory documentation required as part of the move.
