Celebrating Earth Month in April
During Earth Month, help clean oceans and reduce poverty!
Join us in celebrating Earth Month! This April, we aim to remove and recycle 30,000 kilograms of plastic in 30 days. We are collaborating with PlasticBank® once again to fight ocean plastic and reduce poverty. For each unit purchased from products listed below, we commit to remove 1 kilogram or 2.2 pounds of ocean-bound plastic - the equivalent of 50 single-use plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in a landfill or the ocean.
- Protein purification
- Western blotting
- Density gradient media
- Select HyClone products
- Select ÄKTA, Biacore, and scanner spare parts

About Plastic Bank
We are privileged to collaborate with Plastic Bank® once again, a social enterprise that has been globally recognized for implementing one ofthe most important circular solutions to stopping ocean plastic.
Plastic Bank® empowers the regenerative society by helping the world stop ocean plastic while improving the lives of collector communities. Plastic Bank builds ethical recycling ecosystems in coastal communities and reprocesses the materials for reintroduction into the global manufacturing supply chain. Collectors receive a premium for the materials they collect which helps them provide basic family necessities. The collected material is reborn as Social Plastic® which can be easily reintegrated into products and packaging as part of a closed-loop supply chain. PlasticBank currently operates in Haiti, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Egypt. Learn more at plasticbank.com.
