Fractionation of large fractions in the same setup can be done using a fractionation valve. Up to eight vessels of any size can be used to collect fractions with ÄKTApurifier systems. With valve-based fractionation you increase sample recovery and security. Valuable protein is not split between tens of collection tubes. Sample handling is therefore minimized.
