IN Cell Miner HCM consists of two main components: IN Cell Miner HCM Desktop: This rich client application provides the user with an accessible interface that is tailored to the needs of the HCA workflow EMC Documentum 6.5 OEM edition: This proven server application provides IN Cell Miner with a robust and scalable architecture capable of handling the amounts of data generated in high-content screening environments
Automated cell imaging devices such as the IN Cell Analyzer 2000 generate high-volume data, especially where complex subcellular assays are used in drug discovery and cellular biology research

IN Cell Miner HCM uses different Aspects to view and zoom into your data. Each Aspect provides review tools appropriate to the level of data. The multilevel hierarchy within IN Cell Miner HCM allows you to create a screen containing all runs from a variety of assay types in one place.
IN Cell Miner HCM stores data based on concepts pioneered by open-standard communities such as the OME (Open Microscopy Environment) and MIACA (Minimum Information About a Cellular Assay). Descriptions of experimental detail can be annotated to HCA data allowing assay results to be searched and placed in to biological context.
