Cartridges feature pleated polyethersulfone sterilizing grade membrane layer and prefilter with 0.6/0.2 µm pore size rating and come in multiple filter surface area sizes.
Engineered for extended throughput
The optimized ULTA Pure HC membrane configuration features a highly asymmetric membrane prefilter layer, which significantly extends throughput and prevents problems associated with premature filter blockage with complex solutions. The integral prefilter layer can also result in compression of filter trains for greater economy on a wide variety of intermediate and final sterilizing applications.
High capacity, low extractables
ULTA Pure HC capsule filters have high capacity and allow fast flow. The inherent low protein binding properties of the HC membrane minimizes product loss due to adsorption. The filters have low extractable levels and broad chemical compatibility. The membrane is inherently hydrophillic and the filters can be easily and repeatedly integrity tested.
