This interactive eLearning is designed for learners to follow along in their own lab with the preclinical workflow for RNA lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) using the NanoAssemblr Ignite or Ignite+ nanoparticle formulation systems, and GenVoy-ILM training kit. The workflow covers N/P ratio calculation, reagent preparation, encapsulation, downstream processing, and basic LNP analytics.
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Determine the input concentration of RNA for a formulation based on the parameters of the run
- Perform the workflow for making RNA-LNPs using the NanoAssemblr Ignite or Ignite+ and GenVoy-ILM including downstream processing, particle sizing, and encapsulation efficiency
- Understand the principles and interpret results of dynamic light scattering (DLS) and the modified RiboGreen assay
Completion of the fundamentals course, is required. Access to a NanoAssemblr Ignite or Ignite+ system and GenVoy-ILM training kit (not provided) are required to follow along. Other equipment essential to the workflow include:
- DLS instrument
- UV absorption spectrometer
- 96-well plate reader
- single and multichannel micropipettes
- RiboGreen assay kit
- nuclease-free deionized water
